I am listing my scrambler project for sale. I built a cj7 over the last 5 years or so, and now have 3 kids instead of the one I had when I started that project.
So I started looking for a scrambler and kept stumbling upon piece after piece.
Here is a summary:
New fiberglass tub, brand unknown but I believe it is a 4wheeldrive tub. It has a couple of bumps and bruises from being moved around. Nothing major at all
Full one piece fiberglass front end.
YJ-L frame, I believe the year 2005. This was a frame produced for military overseas for transporting troops. Basically a YJ8. Scrambler tub, YJ front clip.
Dana 44 front axle.Out of a 78 Wagoneer, International Scout Knuckles, CJ hubs, disk brakes. 4.88’s with a Lockrite locker. SOA. 5×5.5 Bolt pattern Passenger side drop
77 Scout II Rear dana 44. Full spool with 4.88’s. SOA. 5X5.5 Bolt pattern
Both gear sets have two trail runs and less than 100 miles. I also have two sets of new 4.10’s for these. I was going to swap the 4.88’s out for the 4.10’s
High steer and flat top knuckles for the front steering. All ballistic fab I think.
Axles are set up for soa. Currently sitting on YJ springs.
Just put together enough to roll everything around.
CCI Custom Built Double Cardan Drive shafts for both front and rear.
These will need length changes. They were in a different Jeep at one point
2 corbeau baja seats.
One year old. Came out of a buddies sand car.
4-3″ 4 point harnesses from RCI
Sitting on 4 – 35×12.5×15 BFG KM2 MUD terrains. Two trail rides and less than 100 miles. Steel wheels. 5×5.5 bolt pattern. All hold air
2010 GM 6.0l, I think the motor code is a ly6. Has flex fuel but no displacement on demand. @ 60,000 miles
Rebuilt 4l80 with shift kit. It was in good shape before the rebuild, just rebuilt when the shift kit was installed. 0 miles
I was going to run a dana 300 after the 4l80, but I have a couple options for tc you could pick from.
We have just made the decision for my wife to quit working and stay home with our kids for the next few years so I don’t see any available funds or time for me in that time frame to get this accomplished and could use the cash to stash away just in case. Few trades would be considered but feel free to offer.
I have also picked up a second parts scrambler for the full hardtop, fiberglass front fenders, good title with Vin, decent front buckets(I was going for a six-seater) and rear bench, and supposedly runs and drives, just needs a new key tumbler in the column. As well as an extra tub. Both additions are in rough shape, but you could easily get the money back out of the parts and pieces you don’t want to use.
All of the above-mentioned parts, pieces, and items are yours for
