Selling my 1981 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler.

I bought this Jeep a few months ago with the intent to restore it.

But like always, life happens.

I have the opportunity to work for myself in the trucking industry, so unfortunately I have to let the Jeep go.

It’s in pretty good shape. It does run and drive, and is currently insured.

I’ve put some work into it since I picked it up.

-Motor mounts

-Spark plug wires and wire management looms.

-New exhaust from the headers to the mufflers.

I also have a brand new in the box, direct fit Painless wiring harness that I can include for another $1k

Has a Chevy 305 V8 and Turbo 350 transmission.

There’s currently an issue with the starter. Makes grinding noises and slips a bit sometimes, but it will start. Once it’s running, it’s a very smooth running engine.

There is some rust, but it’s not terrible. Body is relatively rust free accept for a few small areas.

Frame has some rust spots but is still solid.

It’s a great candidate for restoration or resto mod.
